Prayer

We believe that as Christians we are called to pray and that God answers prayer. As a result we seek to pray with the faith that God has given us, expectant of what He will do.

'Prayer is the vital breath of the Christian; not the thing that makes him alive, but the evidence that he is alive' Oswald Chambers

We also meet every Saturday morning for an hour of prayer from 8am. We start with a few songs of worship before being led into a time of prayer. The focus changes on a weekly basis and is usually relevant to what's going on in the world at the time. As Christians we aim to pray for our nation and the wider world. We focus on personal issues within our circle of members and friends if they wish to share.

We also meet once a month for a Family meeting focused around prayer. Instead of meeting in our mid-week Friendship groups, we join together as a whole church to share important news and bring things before God in prayer.

At least once a year, we have a focused week of prayer and fasting where we set aside time to hear from God and seek His direction.
