No Country, City, Town or Village is perfect... You only have to spend a bit of time somewhere to see that! However, together, we believe that we can make a difference to the community we live in. New Life Church has been part of the Biggin Hill Community for over 100 years – yes 100 years – and we LOVE BIGGIN HILL! 

 

We love the people, we love the schools, we love the local businesses and we love this community. We do our best to show that love in lots of different ways, not looking for recognition or reward but we want to be a blessing to this community. WHY? Why is that part of our remit?

 

Don’t switch off at this point… Trigger warning…. We’re going to mention Jesus… We believe at the absolute heart of Christianity is love. Throughout history people have used religion as an excuse to do unthinkable things yet the God of the bible is a God of love. We believe that God loves each and every one of us regardless of how good or bad we may think we are. We believe that accepting Jesus love for us means that as we get to know him, we start to understand what He loves and values and in turn they become things that we love and value.

 

Jesus Loves Biggin Hill more than any of us do and our aim is to love Biggin Hill like he does. Jesus tells us to *‘Love your neighbour as yourself’ and although we don’t always get this right and we know we are far from perfect, just imagine for a moment how different this world would be if more of us lived like this…
